Dnd Redraws

Some recent art redraws I've done.
I've been practicing a lot with self criticising my own art which has helped a lot with improvement.

Astral Dreadnought- Redraw of my Astral Dreadnought from a couple months ago.
With a lot of my art I never really used to be able to tell what id improved on and how much improvement I've made but with this guy Its clear that I've improved practically everything by quite a bit.
Even the background despite being made in a very similar way to how I made the old one is clearly much cleaner the contrast is much better the stars look more realistic and the rocks look more natural.
The pose and lighting on the Dreadnought are a lot cleaner and even though its not human because I used a lot of reference the anatomy works a lot better.
I also did a bit more research on the Astral dreadnought which helped design wise with things like the little portal in his mouth.

Orcus- a piece I originally did last month of Orcus practicing drawing quicker but was unhappy with the colours so didn't post it.
I think my new version has much better anatomy as well as colours and still has a good stylised look similar to my Froghemoth.
I haven't really done a lot of clothing art in a while and enjoyed doing my retro styled star wars characters I did just over a year ago and wanted to incorporate some of my love of retro and sneaker culture into my art so gonna try and do that a bit more with my new art.

Froghemoth- This piece was done a lot quicker than the last as I spent overall about 30 mins or so with the final sketch, about 20 mins editing shape working on line art and tweaking lines and then only about 3 hours colouring doing background and editing colours, all of which was about half as much time as it took me to finish the original image.
Overall I think it is a much more vibrant, stylised and more anatomically correct image compared to the first and I love to see how much my style is developing now.
